The Tourism Promotion Authority has launched a social media campaign to promote adventure tourism in Mount Moses, Sinai, and the Colored Valley.
“If climbing mountains is one of your hobbies, visit Mount Moses in Sinai to live a challenging and fascinating adventure…Discover the beauty and the secrets hidden in the Colored Valley,” the authority tweeted.
This comes as part of Egypt’s promotional campaign on social media platforms within the framework of the Ministry of Tourism’s efforts to provide a contemporary image of Egypt.
This also comes in light of the ministry’s interest in modernizing the mechanisms of promotion and using modern platforms to reach those interested in the Egyptian natural beauty and civilization.
Mount Sinai is a 2,285-metre (7,497 ft) moderately high mountain near the city of Saint Catherine in the Sinai region. It is next to Mount Catherine (at 2,629 m or 8,625 ft, the highest peak in Egypt). It is surrounded on all sides by higher peaks of the mountain range.
